3-4 (Pre-School)

Check-In Process

When entering a classroom the children are invited to participate in a variety of engaging activities during the duration of the check-in period. The activities are designed for the leaders to interact with the children while creating an enjoyable learning environment, and easing any separation anxieties that they may experience. The adult checking the child into the classroom is given an identification label that is necessary to release the child at the end of the service hour.

Story Time

Pre School Class

The children will learn a bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson. They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives. The lesson is concluded with a craft project that reinforces what they have learned, and allows them to creatively express themselves. Our classroom environments emphasize character development and spiritual growth. Each student will take home the weekly lesson, which lists three ways to live out what they learned. If a student completes the lesson during the week and brings it back the following weekend they will receive a prize. Most of our lessons are developed for a 8 week series time and teach biblical truths about character, values and the church.

Fellowship Time

At the end of the service hour, the children will play a game or activity that reinforces the lesson and is a fun time of group connection. The children also enjoy a light, peanut-free snack together where prayers of thanksgiving are shared.

Check-Out Process

To retrieve a child from our classrooms you will be required to provide the identification label that you were given when checking in the child.

What we are learning about NOW!!!

We have just begun our new teaching series, "Chemical Reaction". Each lesson is designed with ideas and activities to give emphasis to our lesson of the week. A Family EnterAction Guide is given to each family to help parents reinforce with your children what is being taught each week during the weekend services.

Each page has a week's worth of fun ideas and activities you can do as a family. On the back of each weekly page, you will find the memory verse we are learning for the week.

Our prayer, as your children learn more about Chemical Reaction, is that they will "Enter into Action" and will begin to apply what they are learning in their daily life, even during their early years.

"Chemical Reactions" is all about how our actions, through Christ, can produce positive, life-changing reaction in others.

I hope your children will come and enjoy the "Reaction" they get when they step into "Action" with us at Real Life Kidz this week!
