WHY:

LIFE GROUPS!! We know that students are going through a lot of crazy stuff right now. It's important to surround yourself with people who have your best interests at heart. At a GET A LIFE LIFE GROUP, we are all about doing life together. Our LIFE GROUPS allow for personal growth time with God, as well as creating opportunities to grow together as a body. We are intentional in our discussions, relational in our conversations and practical in our application. We want to see students grow in their walks with the LORD and continue to ask the tough questions while seeking the right answers. 

GALATIANS 6:2 (NIV) says, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

We are very much aware of the struggles today and of the consequences surrounding them. That is why we meet. To share in very REAL experiences with each other and discuss how God is moving in our lives. We provide the open door, it's up to you to walk through and meet the creator of the universe.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL NIGHT LOOK LIKE:

At a GET A LIFE LIFE GROUP, we want to create an atmosphere that you not only enjoy, but one where you can meet God in a very tangible way. We meet in a building right across the street from Williams Field High School, Lyon's Gate Community Clubhouse.. We meet together, as a group, from 6th grade - 12th grade. We have an ice breaker or crazy game, have a time of teaching and jumping into the word and then we break off into age specific/gender specific small groups. 

HIGH SCHOOL

We know as High School students, life can be hectic! You might have a job, be in a relationship, play a sport and be picking out colleges, so things can get crazy! At Get a Life, we want to journey with you in this thing called life. By bringing Jesus into your personal and spiritual life, things tend to make more sense. Come, check out Get a Life, where you can enjoy fellowship with one another and have an opportunity to make Jesus REAL in your life!

JR HIGH

JR HIGH IS CRAZY!! Maybe you just entered into Jr High and you're feeling your way around, or your the top dog in elementary school. Either way, you are journeying into new territory. There is more freedom given to you by your teachers and possibly your parents. What do you do with this freedom? At Get a Life, we make Jesus REAL to you. Whether by crazy Jesus stories or through use of video, you will experience Jesus like you never have before! Come, check us out. You will have your own leader who cares about you and wants to see you grow in your relationship with Christ.

WHO IS MY LEADER:

Each of our leaders have a desire to not only serve God, but to also serve students. Each leader loves seeing a student grow in their relationship with God as well in their relationship with each other. They are here to share God's love with each student and share God's truth. When you arrive, you will be placed with a leader in a group. Connect with your leader and other students by engaging in meaning conversation. Start by asking this question, "How do you wipe?"

CAN I BRING A FRIEND:

Absolutely!! We encourage each student to invite their friends. In MATTHEW 5:14-15 (NIV), Jesus says, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."

Jesus taught us to be lights in this world. So, invite your friends and introduce them to aREAL relationship with God!!

Wednesday nights from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
